3. Client Relationship

3.1 Project Scope and Deliverables

All services will be outlined in a separate agreement or statement of work detailing the specific deliverables, timelines, and costs associated with your project.

3.2 Communication

We strive to respond to all client communications within one business day. Primary communication will be conducted via email, phone, or scheduled virtual meetings.

3.3 Payment Terms

• All payment terms will be specified in your individual service agreement.
• Unless otherwise stated, we require a 50% deposit to begin work, with the remaining balance due upon project completion.
• For ongoing services, monthly payments are due on the 1st of each month.
• Late payments may result in service interruption and late fees.

3.4 Revisions and Modifications

The number of revisions included in your project will be outlined in your service agreement. Additional revisions may incur extra charges at our standard hourly rate.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Client Content

You retain all rights to content you provide to us, including logos, images, text, and other materials. You represent that you own or have permission to use any content provided to us.

4.2 Our Work Product

Upon receipt of full payment, you will own the final website design and content created specifically for your project. However, we retain ownership of:

• Reusable elements or components that we've previously created
• Custom code that is not unique to your project
• Design elements that we've licensed from third parties

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCLocalSites shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use our services
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our services
• Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our services

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your agreement with us, you may simply discontinue using our services.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of South Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

By continuing to access or use our services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using our services.
